fring™ helps partners spread their own fringing freedom!

Barcelona, 11 February 2008, in line with its aim to help as many consumers as possible take control and rethink the way they use their mobile devices, mobile internet community and service, fringTM (www.fring.com) today announced a number of new initiatives, to provide potential partners the opportunity of adding a new dimension of mobility to their product offering and value proposition.

fring Affiliate Program

fring has just announced its Affiliate Program, enabling potential partners like WiFi, VoIP Broadband ISPs and SIP providers worldwide sign up and access fring’s benefits for their users and gain mobility for their product.

For example, SIP, WiFi or VoIP Broadband ISP partners registered with the fring Affiliate Program are now able to offer their users the opportunity of downloading a dedicated version of fring pre-configured with their personal account login credentials. As any fring user benefiting from real-time presence, VoIP calls, live chat & file transfer, from their mobile phones with all of their mobile and online communities (including fringTM, Skype®, MSN® Messenger, Google Talk™, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo!™ and AIM) now with the dedicated fring’s partner version users can also benefit with a hassle-free way of taking their traditionally PC-based WiFi, SIP & broadband accounts mobile.

Partners interested in joining the fring Affiliate Program should click on partners at the foot of the page at www.fring.com/partners to sign up and take their product and users mobile.

fringing freedom for Boingo

fring and the leading global wireless provider Boingo have just announced a joint marketing agreement, which will see the two companies working together to jointly promote each others’ services to their users.

Similar to the Affiliate Program described above, fring is working with Boingo to improve and enhance the Mobile customers user experience by enabling Boingo users to easily getting fring client and Boingo client from the same location and within user friendly experience, to enable hassle free use of the thousands Boingo WiFi hotspots around the world with their mobile devices.

The two companies have agreed to engage in cross marketing and promotional activities via their web sites and a close working relationship to help each other define and offer as compelling a mobile internet experience to their users as possible.

UIQ

fring has recently joined forces with mobile platform UIQ that will see the two companies working closely together to realize the opportunities that exist for integrating with Sony Ericsson Smartphones and Motorola devices. As a result, fring will get access to UIQ’S knowledge and development expertise, and UIQ will be able to leverage fring’s industry leading knowledge of mobile VoIP technologies.

its all about fringing freedom

Avi Schechter, Co-founder and CEO of fring, commented: “fring’s unique ability to break down the barriers that have traditionally existed between the fixed and mobile internet worlds, offers incredibly attractive opportunities for potential partners, from hardware manufacturers to providers of added value mobile services and content. In line with our fringing freedom positioning we are open to dialogue with all players in the mobile, telephony and internet spaces, and we are developing ways of making working with fring even more open and accessible in the future.”
